Custom Coaching Interventions Strategies

Designer Swish Patterns - 2-days 6/7 Dec 2006
(presented with AcuityWorld - Holte, Denmark)

In the mid-1980’s NLP developer Richard Bandler began talking about submodalities - very precise and specific aspects of sensory representations. In his book, “Using Your Brain for a Change” (recommended reading) he presented a methodology for making significant changes in response with clients (or for yourself) “swish” patterns. The swish patterns presented in this book were primarily designed around “visual swishes” using modifications in submodalites of the visual representations. These patterns proved extremely effective and efficient in making changes with clients. Working with Joseph you’ll learn to take Richard’s approach to instantaneous change-work with clients beyond just the visual domain and design custom Swish Patterns as full-sensory representations - specifically built around the client’s internal submodality representations and strategies.

Working with Joseph you’ll learn an approach to instantaneous change-work with clients ... how-to build precision, custom coaching sessions designed for creating exquisite performances.

In these two days Joseph will present the art of designing swish patterns that are specific to the client based on information gathered during the elicitation process and using the entire range of representational modalities, not limiting swishes to just the visual mode. These “Designer Swish” patterns will allow you to develop the means to make significant change with clients that go beyond the limiting your interventions to the visual mode or general forms designed without the unique cognitive patterns of the client’s begin considered in their design. The result is that the client will perceive the “new” representation as the preferred and often “original” representation of how they hold and sort the information that you’ve brought into question. Once you’ve learned how-to design a designer swish we’ll introduce and cover the utilization of conversational hypnosis to complete the installation.

  • Use hypnotic elicitation to gather the neurological patterns used by the client
  • Build custom hypnotic inductions around the client’s unique patterns
  • Adjust the submodalities of the 4-tuple sensory experience using hypnotic installation
  • Build conscious and unconscious awareness simultaneously utilizing Designer V-A-K Swishes”
  • Establish directional reframing integrating hypnosis and the swish patterns
